Functional Analyst

We are looking for a Client -Facing Functional Analyst to join a high -impact regulatory and tax transformation initiative within a leading international banking environment in Luxembourg.

Operating at the heart of the Payment Systems domain, you will play a key role in shaping and modernizing critical banking processes while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across multiple countries and disciplines.

Requirements

Functional & Banking Expertise

• Strong knowledge of banking payment systems:
  • SEPA
    
  • Credit Transfers
    
  • Direct Debits
    
  • Payment workflows
    
• Good understanding of banking operations across front, middle, and back office
  
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance constraints within payment environments
  

Technical & Methodological Skills

• Proven experience writing functional specifications and business documentation
  
• Comfortable working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and/or V -Model project delivery
  
• Strong command of:
  • JIRA
    
  • Confluence
    
  • Excel
    
  • PowerPoint
    
• Experience with process/modelling tools such as BPMN or UML
  
• Ability to understand and analyse complex workflows, interfaces, and data flows
  
• Good SQL knowledge for analysis and validation activities
