Arbeitsbeschreibung - HR & Office Manager

OUR MISSION 
Do you want to join our rockstar team of innovators and make a REAL impact in the sustainability space?  
Circu Li-ion is a Luxembourg-based start-up, specializing in the automated battery disassembly and diagnostics. The proprietary automated battery upcycling platform comprised of the battery library, application layer and robotic disassembly, reduces the need for dangerous and manual working steps, whilst creating clean material streams. 

YOUR ROLE 
Circu Li-ion is looking for an experienced HR & Office Manager to become the backbone of our staff. While we grow (currently 40 employees across 2 countries), we need an exceptional colleague to oversee our HR operations while ensuring smooth day-to-day office management. In your role, you will be working closely with the Founders and Heads to manage our hiring pipeline, develop our staff and drive our company culture. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Human Resources:
  • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding and be the main point of contact for any HR related matters
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring we get the best colleagues for our team
  • Handle the entire performance process and ensure smooth support
  • Maintain our HR tool Personio while making sure our data quality is of a high standard
  • Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures
  • Execute HR projects and contribute to other ad hoc projects (e.g. Fund-raising applications)
  • Process payroll and benefits accurately and timely
  • Handle confidential matters and personal employee data and topics with discretion and integrity
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Support with Compliance activities and liaise with local authorities when required
  • Issue HR reports to support strategical decisions
  • Drive HR strategy
Office Management:
  • Oversee the general office operations
  • Ensure the liaison with externals (e.g. vendors, service providers)
  • Coordinate with the Health & Safety officer to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Organize team events and offsites
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3-4 years of relevant HR experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager, working in a stand-alone position
  • Experience in a fast-paced and demanding working environment (startup is a big plus)
  • Service-driven, and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Passionate about embracing operational excellence and driving ongoing improvements
  • Highly organized and experienced with HRIS
  • Fundamental labor law knowledge
  • PLUS: Experienced in communicating with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Team player, eager to improve every day and acting proactively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Englishverbally and in writing, German is a plus
  • Available +30 hours per week
