Junior Funds Lawyer

Need a change? Willing to be a member of the dynamic and fast-expanding Luxembourg-based team of an international business law firm? We are looking for: a Junior Investment Funds lawyer.

YOUR ROLE

• Advise domestic and international clients on general investment fund and regulatory matters in relation to regulated and unregulated investment vehicles;
• Assist in the structuring and formation of Funds, ensuring compliance with Luxembourg and EU regulations, support the preparation and review of fund documentation, and provide advice on regulatory matters such as AIFMD compliance, marketing rules, and cross-border distribution;
• Support senior lawyers in advising on the establishment, authorization and operation of investment funds;
• Liaise with the Luxembourg regulator (CSSF) and other authorities as required;
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to the development of client relationship;
• Conduct legal research and stay abreast of developments in investment fund regulations and industry practices;
• Take part in internal and external presentations and be involved in legal publications.

YOUR PROFILE

• 1/3 years of experience in the Investment Funds department of a law firm based in Luxembourg;
• Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or any other European Bar would be an advantage;
• Graduate from university in Laws, knowledge of Luxembourg law would be an asset;
• Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape for investment funds in Luxembourg and the EU;
• Perfect command of English. Any additional language is considered as an asset;
• Independent working attitude, efficient, diligent, team player and equipped with a positive mindset.
