Position Overview

We are seeking for a junior professionalto join our Corporate & Lending Business Team as a Lending Officer.

The mission of the Corporate & Lending Business department is to provide consolidated and structured lending solutions plus facilitating Corporate, Funds& Shipping clientele. Diverse services include among others cash management, transaction banking, treasury and financing products, while preparing all the credit applications of all the bank’s units.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Assisting in initiating all credit application material for submission to the relevant Credit Committees. Liaising with Senior Lending Officers to gather all sufficient information for annual reviews, amendments or new requests.

• Executing Corporate Banking client’s transactions (FX deals, payments, Blocking Certificates, etc). Monitoring smooth execution of the whole payment’s flow (FCM, T24, etc).

• Monitoring in Bloomberg Loanable values of secured portfolios (The assets may comprise of cash/deposits, shares, structured products, mutual funds and bonds.

• Where necessary, updating clients’ legal documentation in liaison with the senior employees of the department and Client Services Unit.

• Monitoring the day-to-day clients’ requests and assisting senior officers in replying.

• Following up excesses or discrepancies and necessary measures to be taken for their coverage in collaboration with the Senior Officers.

• Inputing or updating client’s data (KYCP) wherever necessary.

• Assisting in the preparation of internal reporting.

You will be a great candidate if you:

• Have 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hold a university degree in Economics, Management, Banking/Finance or Legal.
• Are experienced user of Microsoft Office tools.
• Have excellent command of English language. Knowledge of Greek is a plus.
• Have analytical and problem-solving abilities, accountability, strong team working skills and a results- oriented mindset.
• Have strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and deliver information in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner, collaborative spirit, agility, and can-do attitude.
