Manager M&E Contracts & Maintenance Sales

Task Responsibilities

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of about five employees and act as a key interface between Engineering, Finance, Maintenance, suppliers, and external customers.
 

Maintenance & Engineering Contracts

You are responsible for the full lifecycle management of Maintenance & Engineering contracts, including:

• Identification, issuance, execution, evaluation, and award recommendations for all Material Management–related tenders
• Negotiation, administration, and governance of M&E technical contracts
• Close coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure operational continuity and cost efficiency

Typical contract scopes include:

• Acquisition of high-value assets
• Aircraft base maintenance services
• Aircraft modifications
• Components maintenance agreements

Maintenance Sales

• You will oversee maintenance-related commercial activities and actively support business growth by:
• Developing and managing a customer portfolio aligned with the M&E division strategy
• Coordinating customer activities and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
• Leading negotiations for maintenance-related commercial agreements

Typical sales activities include:

• Components pooling agreements
• Aircraft and component maintenance contracts
• Customer relationship management
• Coordination and monitoring of maintenance sales activities

Essential Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or in any other related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a procurement function and areas such as sourcing and vendor management. Experience in Maintenance & Engineering would be considered as an advantage.
• A previous experience in a managerial position, including people management, is preferred.
• A previous experience in high-value contract negotiation, procurement techniques, and best practices is preferred.
• A previous experience with AMOS would be considered as an advantage.
• Ability to balance operational urgency with long-term strategy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Dealing effectively with complexity and having good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to handle and resolve conflicts.

Working Conditions

• Permanent, full-time position based in our Cargolux Maintenance Center in Luxembourg.
• The position demands a regular presence in the office and requires vacation and other absences to be planned to avoid conflicting with service needs.
• Flexibility is needed with working hours.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
