Mechanical Engineer - EU

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer that wants to help define the future of space exploration. The main responsibilities will be the design, manufacturing, and testing of thermomechanical Lunar surface systems. You will work on a wide variety of complex and first-of-their-kind projects destined for the Lunar surface and beyond. Must be willing to relocate to Europe (Luxembourg). Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in similar role


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field


• Proficiency in CAD/CAM (Solidworks), CNC mills, machine shop work, and creating part drawings, including GD&T


• Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team (software, electrical, thermal, etc.)


• Experience with design of mechanisms and deployables


• Experience with rapid prototyping


• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test, with an emphasis on mechatronic skills: programming and operating electromechanical systems such as DC motors, sensors, and active mechanisms

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in a startup and/or aerospace environment


• Experience working directly with the European Space Agency


• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (ECSS, NASA GEVS)


• Familiarity with technical reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.)


• Familiarity with test campaigns (vibration, TVAC, etc.)
