Position Overview
We are seeking for an experienced professionalto join our Operational and Climate-related & Environmental Risks Unit as
Operational Risk Senior Analyst.
By joining this role, you will be part of the unit who is responsible for the effective and consistent application of the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework across the Bank, operating within a CSSF-regulated environment and in coordination with Eurobank Group risk standards.
This is a hands-on position in a dynamic and evolving environment. As the Bank has recently completed a core banking system migration, you will be comfortable operating where processes are being improved in real time, and you will contribute to those improvements.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Support the Head of Operational Risk and Climate-related & Environmental Risks in implementing a comprehensive non-financial risk framework aligned with CSSF requirements and Group standards.
- Liaise with stakeholders across all levels of the Bank to collect, review and validate input data required for risk analysis and reporting purposes.
- Execute the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) exercises, identify and monitor operational risk events and track mitigating actions.
- Contribute to the internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP) for non-financial risks, supporting the Head in throughout all phases.
- Lead the risk appetite monitoring and reporting for non-financial risks and support materiality assessment exercise of the Bank.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of non-financial risk management policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Support the implementation and ongoing development of the ESG risk management framework across the Bank.
You will be a great candidate if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management within a bank or financial institution; Private banking or Luxembourg experience is an advantage.
- University degree in Economics or Finance, or a quantitative discipline.
- Background in operational risk frameworks; familiarity with CSSF regulatory requirements is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills – able to produce clear, well-structured reports and present findings to senior management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of French and/or Greek is an asset.
- You show intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in developing your understanding of banking regulation and risk practice.
