Position Overview

We are seeking for an experienced professionalto join our Regulatory Reporting Team as a Regulatory Reporting Officer.

By joining this role, you will support the Regulatory Reporting team in the preparation and submission of the Bank’s statutory, statistical, and prudential reports, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data reported to supervisory authorities.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Regulatory Report Preparation: Supporting the end-to-end preparation, validation, and timely submission of periodic statistical and prudential regulatory reports.
  • Prudential Monitoring: Contributing to the calculation and monitoring of key regulatory ratios, including solvency, liquidity, and leverage, in accordance with the Capital Requirements Regulation.
  • Data Quality & Reconciliation: Performing detailed data quality checks and reconciliations between core banking systems and reporting tools to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Regulatory Analysis: Monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments (e.g., updates to European Banking Authority technical standards and local supervisory requirements) and assessing their impact on existing reporting processes.
  • Audit & Regulatory Queries: Preparing technical documentation and supporting workpapers for internal and external audits and assisting in responding to regulatory or supervisory inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to initiatives aimed at improving data quality, automating reporting processes, and strengthening the overall regulatory reporting framework.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaising with Finance, Risk, IT, and other relevant teams to ensure consistency, completeness, and reliability of data used for regulatory reporting.

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Have minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory reporting, finance, or audit within a bank, financial institution, or consulting/audit firm in Luxembourg.
  • Have a solid understanding of general accounting principles; experience with IFRS 9 is an advantage.
  • Are knowledgeable in the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) / Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) framework and prudential reporting concepts (Own Funds, RWA, liquidity).
  • Are proficient in MS Excel; experience with regulatory reporting tools such as AxiomSL, OneSumX, or Abacus is a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
  • Can manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent command of English; knowledge of French is appreciated.
  • Are proactive and collaborative, capable of taking ownership of regulatory reporting tasks.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and deliver information in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner, collaborative spirit, agility, and can-do attitude.
