Senior SAP EHS Consultant (S/4HANA)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP EHS Functional Consultant with strong expertise in the SAP EHS Management Suite (S/4HANA). The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of SAP EHS modules, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, configuration, and customization across all areas of SAP EHS.
• Implement and support EHS submodules, including Risk Assessment and Chemical Management.
• Provide expert knowledge on EHS business processes such as Incident Recording & Management, Operational Risk Assessment, Product Compliance (Chemical Management), and Document Management.
• Conduct workshops with business users to gather requirements, identify gaps, and design solutions.
• Collaborate with ABAP teams for RICEFW development and support integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, HR).
• Drive full lifecycle project activities including requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Work with offshore teams and cross-functional streams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Engage directly with clients to understand technical requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, documentation, and governance processes.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Environment Health & Safety (EHS).
• Strong expertise in S/4HANA SAP EHS configuration and customization.
• Solid integration knowledge with SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, and HR modules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a local European language is an advantage.
• Experience in full lifecycle SAP EHS implementations.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of ABAP debugging.
• Experience with Solution Manager (SOLMAN) and JIRA.
• Exposure to general industry, steel market, or production processes.

Assignment Duration: 8+ months (Freelance/B2B)
Location: Luxembourg / Germany (Hybrid working)

Relevant Experience in SAP EHS: Minimum 5 years
