Senior Manager, Payments Oversight (EU Entity)

Lead complex projects and problem resolution efforts related to risk management. Collaborate with teams to identify and analyze risks that may impact operations and assets. Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation and compliance. Assess current business trends to inform risk management practices and improvements. Drive global process improvements through effective project management and stakeholder engagement. Enhance and maintain the EU entity's second-line oversight framework for payments scheme compliance, covering card issuing, card acquiring, and SEPA payment activities. Provide ongoing oversight of EU entity activities conducted under its card network licenses and SEPA scheme participation. Support SLOD oversight of: Ensure customer, merchant, and counterparty processes operate in line with applicable regulatory and scheme standards. Support preparation for regulatory reviews and provide compliance reporting as required. Provide regular updates to senior management and internal governance committees. Work cross-functionally with product, operations, engineering, risk, treasury, and global compliance teams. Build strong working relationships across the business to support effective and pragmatic compliance outcomes. Support new initiatives and product changes by assessing card and SEPA compliance impacts and providing guidance. 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in card issuing, card acquiring, and/or payments scheme governance, including card networks and/or SEPA schemes. Ability to work effectively in a complex, global, and cross-functional organization.
