Senior PLM IT Lead

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and govern PLM functional configuration across workflows, routings, data collection, and business rules


• Translate manufacturing and quality requirements into PLM configuration


• Define configuration standards and governance


• Administer MES environments (DEV, TEST, PROD)


• Support releases, patches, and upgrades


• Develop/Monitor integrations with ERP and Quality systems


• Provide production support and incident triage


• Own PLM role design and access models


• Perform user provisioning and access reviews


• Support audits and compliance activities


• Coordinate SIT and UAT testing


• Document design decisions and configuration changes


• Provide guidance on PLM capabilities, constraints, and roadmap options.


• Support audits and compliance activities related to electronic records and MES controls.


• Foster strong collaborative relationships across Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams.

COMPETENCIES

• Deep experience with PLM Software such as Windchill, Teamcenter, Matrix One, Agile, and other industry leading PLM solutions.


• Familiarity with Engineering design product development


• Familiarity with manufacturing planning and/or hand-off of PLM data (BOM/BOP) to ERP.


• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and shop‑floor processes.


• Experience designing workflows, data models, and production execution logic.


• Ability to communicate complex system concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.


• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.


• Comfortable acting as system owner and escalation point.


• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years’ experience in PLM systems


• Proven experience owning system configuration and post‑implementation support.
