Sr Manager, Risk Management

Lead complex projects and problem resolution efforts related to risk management. Collaborate with teams to identify and analyze risks that may impact operations and assets. Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation and compliance. Assess current business trends to inform risk management practices and improvements. Drive global process improvements through effective project management and stakeholder engagement. Champion enterprise risk strategy: Define and evolve the overarching risk management framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory standards, and organizational goals. Lead the RCSA program: Build a best-in-class RCSA framework that delivers actionable insights and enhances decision-making at management and board levels. Shape innovation and transformation: Partner with product, technology, and business leaders to embed risk thinking in new product design and business change processes from ideation to launch. Advise senior leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, ensuring risk awareness and governance underpin all major strategic initiatives. Define risk appetite and governance: Contribute to setting the operational risk appetite, key risk indicators (KRIs), and oversight mechanisms that guide business performance. Implement operational risk architecture: Help design, deploy, and maintain the tools, processes, and reporting structures for effective operational risk management. Manage risk event collection and reporting: Oversee identification, validation, and analysis of operational risk events, ensuring timely reporting to senior management and regulators. Challenge and strengthen controls: Provide independent challenge to first-line risk management and remediation actions, fostering continuous improvement. Ensure regulatory excellence: Guarantee full compliance with CSSF circulars, EBA & ECB guidelines, and Basel/CRR requirements across all enterprise risk activities. 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years' experience in enterprise or operational risk management, including RCSA and new product/change risk ownership, ideally within a regulated EU/EEA bank. Strong knowledge of CSSF, EBA & ECB, and Basel/CRR regulatory frameworks. Proven ability to connect risk expertise with strategic business objectives. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Master's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; FRM/PRM certification a plus. Experience thriving in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
