Storage Expert

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Storage Expert to join our UniQue team in Luxembourg.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Design, test and implement Ansible playbooks to apply the prerequisites to host specific products on Virtual Machines hosted on VMware ESXi hypervisor and Red Hat Linux 8 or 9:
• SAP Hana database with cascading system replication (shared nothing topology) and Linux clustering
• SAP S/4 Hana integrated with Linux clustering and replicated with file-based replication (rsync)
• Oracle Real Application Cluster with replication managed by Oracle Data Guard
• Split production and non-production, split lan and external DMZ for Oracle)
• Support matrixes from VMware (Hypervisor), Brocade(San provider), Hitachi (Array provider), SAP, Oracle, RedHat (Guest OS) and Netbackup (Backup tool)
• Additional tasks:
• Engineering tasks
• Automation & scripting with Ansible
• Integration of specific hardware and software within the EP Standard Configurations
• Production of reports, best practices documents and technical procedures
• Preparation and organisation of trainings
• L3 support for incident and request management related to project activities
• Occasional emergency interventions performed out-of-normal working hours

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Have at least a Bachelor's Degree in IT
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the domain
• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, Linux server administration (especially Red Hat), and container technologies
• Proficient in SAN, NAS, cloud storage, and Fibre Channel networking
• Hands-on experience with Hitachi Storage Arrays and Brocade SAN switches
• Skilled in integrating SAP Hana (cascading system replication, shared-nothing topology) and SAP S/4 Hana (Linux clustering with rsync replication)
• Experienced with Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard, including production/non-production and DMZ segregation
• Knowledge of Linux clustering and high-availability configurations
• Proficient in backup and disaster recovery integration with NetBackup
• Capable of emergency interventions and rapid troubleshooting in critical outages
• Strong documentation and configuration management skills
• Proficiency in English and French language.
