Senior Consultant in Indirect Tax 

The opportunity

As part of the Luxembourg Indirect Tax group, you will provide indirect tax expertise to multinational corporations. As a member of our team of indirect tax professionals, you will offer a multidisciplinary approach to our clients, you will demonstrate a breadth of experience and a depth of understanding of indirect tax concepts.

Your key responsibilities

You will advise on indirect tax aspects of cross-border projects for multinational companies in respect of implementation of innovative schemes, expansion of business in new countries, mergers and acquisitions, global contracts and many other situations.

You will work on indirect tax issues relating to financial services, in particular matters linked to outsourcing and cross-border services in the asset management and banking sectors.

You will further gain experience in working on innovative property financing transactions and on major acquisition and disposal of Real Estate, indirect tax due diligence, indirect tax review in the scope of statutory audit.

You will support multinational companies with their indirect tax reporting obligations and day-to-day operational issues. 

Skills and attributes for success

Your career in Tax enabled you to be exposed to complex Indirect Tax matters in an international environment.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A Master degree in Tax Law, Accounting or equivalent


• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Indirect Tax, ideally on the Luxembourgish market


• Fluency in English. French and/or German would be considered an asset


• Proven exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence and top results


• Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills


• The ability and desire to take initiative and to work independently as well as to collaborate with other team members depending on project size and needs

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in leading and coaching a team


• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
