Operations provide secure and efficient processing of Pictet’s banking transactions and investment funds. Our teams ensure all activities follow regulations and manage risks. By developing and maintaining a modern, robust infrastructure, we guarantee reliable, high-quality services for Pictet wealth management, asset management and real estate clients.

The role of the function is to carry out checks on all types of investments in funds handled by FundPartner Solutions (FPS). The valuer helps to establish and verify the application of valuation procedures, in particular for funds of hedge funds.

Your role

• Daily and Periodical Controls: Conducting regular controls on mainstream financial assets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  
  


• NAV Validation: Validating NAVs from financial information providers and fund administrators, checking for variations, stale prices, or pricing suspects, and updating prices as necessary.
  
  


• Securities Monitoring: Identifying, analyzing, and monitoring securities with stale prices or valuation issues to ensure accurate valuation.
  
  


• Escalation Procedures: Implementing escalation procedures and providing valuation suggestions for fund decision-making entities (fund governance bodies) to ensure appropriate valuation decisions.
  
  


• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Working with other departments involved in the asset valuation process to resolve valuation issues in NAV calculation through effective collaboration and communication.
  
  


• Audit and Client Requests: Responding to audit requests and client inquiries, providing detailed financial information or valuation methodologies to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
  
  


• Risk Reporting Management: Managing risk reporting and conducting risk analysis through audited financial statements to identify areas of improvement or potential risks.
  
  


• Valuation Activities Reporting: Measuring and reporting on valuation activities, ensuring excellent client service by providing accurate and timely reports.
  
  


• Procedure and Policy Development: Developing and maintaining evaluation procedures and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Your profile

• Master's degree in Economics or Finance 
  
  


• 3 to 5 years' experience in valuation, pricing or corporate action
  
  


• Fluent in french and english
  
  


• Excellent knowledge of financial products and their valuation.
  
  


• Broad knowledge of funds regulation, vision of fund administration.
  
  


• Knowledge of data vendors such as Bloomberg, Markit, ICE, Reuters.
  
  


• Proficient use of data and communication tools (e.g. MS Office suite, Business Object, Tableau, etc).
