This role bridges Procurement domain expertise (Sourcing/S2C, Purchasing/P2P, Supplier Management/Engagement) with a strong understanding of software delivery and system design, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value and an excellent user experience. \n\n1\\. Business discovery \u0026 user-centric requirements \n\u2022 Lead structured discovery with procurement stakeholders (buyers, sourcing managers, category teams, finance partners, supplier-facing teams) to capture pain points, outcomes, constraints and success criteria. \n\u2022 Translate user needs into clear, testable functional requirements (including user journeys, rules, validations, roles/permissions, exception handling). \n\u2022 Own prioritisation input and ensure requirements are complete, consistent and agreed before build starts. \n2\\. Process and solution design (Sourcing, Purchasing, Supplier) \n\u2022 Design and maintain end-to-end \u201cto-be\u201d business processes across Sourcing, Purchasing/P2P and Supplier domains (including upstream/downstream touchpoints). \n\u2022 Define functional solution designs: workflows, screens/forms, approvals, notifications, document flows, audit trails, and key business rules. \n\u2022 Ensure designs align with policy/compliance requirements and enable standardisation while allowing necessary market flexibility. \n3\\. Bridge between business and software delivery \n\u2022 Act as the primary interface between business users and engineering/architecture teams to ensure shared understanding and fast decision-making. \n\u2022 Provide continuous clarification during delivery (grooming, sprint execution) and manage requirement changes with impact assessment (scope, timeline, risk). \n\u2022 Validate that the delivered solution matches the agreed design through walkthroughs, demos, and acceptance readiness. \n4\\. Data, reporting and control framework definition \n\u2022 Define the business information model for the domain: key entities (e.g., supplier, sourcing event, requisition, PO), data quality needs, ownership, and lifecycle. \n\u2022 Specify required operational reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and audit/compliance controls to support procurement governance and performance management. \n\u2022 Ensure traceability from business outcomes \u2192 requirements \u2192 delivered capability \u2192 measurable metrics. \n5\\. Adoption, testing, and continuous improvement \n\u2022 Own/support UAT strategy and execution: test scenarios, acceptance criteria, defect triage, and sign-off recommendations. \n\u2022 Drive adoption readiness: user guidance, training inputs, operational handover needs, and feedback loops. \n\u2022 Use user feedback and performance data to recommend improvements and streamline processes post-go-live.\n\n## Who you are\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.\n * 7+ years relevant experience in Procurement (Sourcing/S2C and/or P2P and/or Supplier domain) with strong exposure to digital transformation or tools implementation.\n * Demonstrable experience working with software delivery teams (Agile/Waterfall), including writing functional requirements and supporting UAT.\n * (Nice to have) Certifications such as TOGAF (foundation), BPMN, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile (PSM/SAFe), or Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS).\n * Deep Procurement domain expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge across Sourcing, Purchasing/P2P, and Supplier Management/Engagement, including policies, controls, and operational realities.\n * Business architecture \u0026 process design: Proven capability to design end-to-end processes, map as-is/to-be, identify root causes, and simplify workflows.\n * Requirements engineering: Ability to create high-quality functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and to maintain traceability through delivery.\n * Strong delivery collaboration: Comfortable working in Agile delivery with software teams; understands SDLC concepts (APIs, integrations, data flows, environments, testing).\n * Stakeholder engagement \u0026 facilitation: Excellent communication with both business and technical audiences; able to facilitate workshops, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment.\n\n\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
