AIT Intern

Job Description: 

We are looking for an AIT intern to work on the integration and testing of our microwave-based volatiles extraction breadboards for lunar and orbital applications. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that will shape the future of space exploration, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics and AIT processes, with a strong interest in space technology development.  

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the assembly and integration of our microwave-based volatiles extraction breadboards, following established procedures and protocols. 

• Conduct functional testing and performance verification of the breadboard, troubleshooting any issues that arise. 

• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure the successful integration of electronic components and subsystems. 

• Document test procedures, results, and observations in a clear and organized manner. 

• Participate in design reviews and meetings to provide input and feedback on the breadboard development process. 

• Support ongoing efforts to optimize and improve AIT processes and procedures. 

• Utilize coding skills in C-Sharp (or other C-based languages) to develop test automation scripts or tools (if applicable). 

To hit the ground running, you need to: 

• Pursue or hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 

• Have a practical experience in electronics integration, and circuit design (requirement) 

• Have any experience in AIT processes. 

• Maintain strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. 

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Be proficient in coding, particularly in C sharp or other C languages, is a plus.  

• Experience in the space industry is not required.
