Intern, SAP Finance & Controlling Junior Analyst

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry, ensuring unique learning experiences, and more specifically of the SAP Operations team of SES.

Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will actively contribute to the day-to-day functions of the SAP Operations team by focusing on Finance and Controlling areas and orchestrating case analysis for automation using tools such as MS Power Platform. You will also play a role in translating these analyses into actionable implementations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement process and design improvements.


• Assist the SAP team for ongoing project involving migration form Oracle to SAP ECC;


• Provide day-to-day support to the SAP Operations team, concentrating on the areas of Finance and Controlling;


• Provide support in Product documentations and User Guides particular in technical writings;


• Prepare a library for SAP critical transactions, test scenarios, test cases;


• Prepare business data flow documentation;


• Address unforeseen assistance requirements stemming from business inquiries and needs.

YOUR PROFILE

1.You must have

• Current student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or another relevant field;


• Experience in an office environment and with MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio);


• Fluency in spoken and written English;


• Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or current valid work permit for Luxembourg).

2. It would be nice if you had

• Interest in ERP systems (SAP), and Microsoft solutions.


• Familiarity with financial and IT terminology is preferred.


• Interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular.


• Ability to integrate into cross-functional teams.


• Ability to set priorities autonomously;


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
