Purpose of the Programme

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Work Experience program at Ocorian. This is an excellent opportunity for school-aged students looking to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. As a Work Experience Intern, you will gain insight into our business operations, and form an understanding of how our teams deliver for our customers.

Work Experience will be 1 day - 4 weeks in length, so please advise your preference on application.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations across various departments, including HR, Operations, Finance, Fund administration, Corporate Services, and Compliance.
• Support team members in preparing and organizing documentation for client meetings and presentations.
• Conduct research and analysis to assist in project development and client reporting.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Shadow experienced professionals to gain a deeper understanding of the financial services industry.
• Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.

• Considering pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Or currently, at school leaver level, and thinking of a career in Financial Services
• Strong interest in financial services and a desire to learn more about the industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly Excel (preferably having worked with Pivot Tables and V Lookups)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.

YOU MUST HAVE RIGHT TO WORK IN LUXEMBOURG. YOU CANNOT BE GRADUATE OR UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL. WORK EXPERIENCE IS AIMED AT A MORE JUNIOR COHORT.
