Be the driving force to bring “Moneyball” to the Private Equity industry.
Build an unrivalled, proprietary dataset on software firms by compiling data from various databases and above all, our internally developed, state-of-the-art AI software tool.
Develop analytical approaches and conduct econometric analyses.
Interpret, document, and discuss empirical results internally.
Write academic articles to publish significant findings.
Support ad-hoc assignments and conduct special analyses in due diligence processes and for existing BID Equity portfolio firms.
Continuously maintain and further develop our proprietary AI software tool.

Billy Beane is looking for Paul DePodesta: A master’s degree in Financial Economics, Quantitative Finance, Economic Theory, Mathematics, or Statistics.
0-3 years of professional experience.
Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking.
Openness to new ideas and a critical approach to existing beliefs.
Mental flexibility and ability to adapt one’s thinking to new information, situations, or perspectives.
Knowledge of econometric methods and inferential statistics.
Experience handling large data sets.
Fluency in English is a must; fluency in German is a plus.
