We are seeking an Account Clerk to join our team and assist in managing our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, and supporting the firm's Partners with various tasks. The candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Handle bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of transactions
- Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Familiarity with accounting entry, debit and credit
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures
- Provide support to the firm's partners as required
- Prior experience in handling legal firm's accounts will be an added advantage
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- A Certificate in Accounting/SPM credit in Account
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
