Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
• Performing a full spectrum of GL function and to maintain a full set of accounts.
• Review intercompany transactions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Prepare outlook on a monthly basis & budget on a yearly basis
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors for end-of-year audits.
• Preparation of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities to resolve any issues or inquiries.
• Provide payroll processing and administration services, including the calculation of salaries, statutory declarations, and employee claims.
• Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Train and supervise work performed by junior staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Assist in the implementation of ERP.
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management. What We Are Looking For:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting/audit fields.
• Added advantage with audit exposures at an established global public accounting firm
• Remuneration will be adjusted according to experience.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
