Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Maxis Berhad is currently seeking a dedicated and independent Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. This is a full-time remote work position based in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and possess strong planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain vendor files and communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries - Prepare and process payments through various methods such as checks, ACH, and wire transfers - Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits - Verify and post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus
