Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

PPB Group Berhad is seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Associate for a remote work position based in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. As an Associate level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in accounts payable and demonstrate resilience and confidence in their work.

Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Ensure timely payment of invoices and vendor accounts - Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payable transactions - Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries - Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation - Collaborate with the finance team on process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Resilient and confident attitude in handling challenges - Strong strategic planning and time management skills
