Responsible for the accuracy and timely preparation of the Group's financial statements and reporting.
In charge of preparation of annual audited financial statements to comply with the latest MFRS standards and assist in annual audit exercise for the Group.
To perform variance analysis for financial performance on Group basis.
To prepare annual budgets, forecast and planning by liaising with the relevant business units & departments.
Ensure statutory and financial compliance with Group's corporate accounting policies and financial accounting guidelines/standards.
Implement budgeting control system, costing system, provide key performance indicators and assist management and users to make better informed plans and decisions.
To plan and monitor overall periodic cashflow, receivables and payables.
Establish and maintain good rapport and working processes with internal; external auditors, tax agents, banks and government agencies and board request.
Ensure ongoing compliance with reliable internal control policies and processes and ongoing review of its effectiveness.
Review subsidiaries' annual audited financial statements and tax computation.
Provide support and communicate to all subsidiary finance personnel on accounting and group reporting matters;
Other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job requirement

Candidate must possess Degree in Accounting, professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CIMA or ACCA will be an advantage.
Member of MIA is preferred.
Minimum 5 years working experience in a Management position.
With relevant audit experience in public listed companies will have an added advantage.
Experience in group consolidation.
With familiarity in accounting standards, MFRSs and conversant in Malaysian Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
Acute attention to detail, highly organized, confident, analytical, proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
A dynamic self-starter with a positive / can-do attitude, initiative and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a challenging and a fast-paced environment.
