Business Development Manager

• Lead, Direct and Manage operations for imports/exports as the main point of contact
• Assist Global Manager to expand business, monitor and achieve Account PandL target
• Plan, organize, and control the day to day operation and ensure all service level agreements are fulfilled
• Preparation of quarterly customer stewardship meetings and other customer reporting/meetings
• Ensure shipment requirements are met and jobs are completed within the prescribed KPI limits
• Leads and build an efficient team to achieve organization goals
• Validate set system procedures are being followed correctly for required departments
• Responsible for daily documentation tracker report generation/monitoring/KPI conformance
• Responsible for reconciliation, review, and approval of carrier charges and other supplier invoices relating to documentation
• Manage and optimize processes for data intake , validation as well as internal and external communication and information deliverables
• Responsible for correct and timely provision of all freight documentation to customers
• To conduct periodical SOP review with the objective to increase operational efficiency by automating processes and eliminating risk area
• Ensure compliance with the applicable statutory law, good business practice and regulations in the respective jurisdictions

; JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably candidate with ocean freight experience
• Preferably candidate who are familiar with US trade lane
• Experience in freight forwarding which related to petrol-chemical business will be advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Multitask and willing to contribute extra hours when business situation requires
• Able to work independently in a fast pace environment, positive dealing with challenges and deliver results within tight deadlines.
