Corporate Accountant

As Corporate Accountant, you are responsible for the reporting of Vallen Asia's financial status. You prepare financial statements required for internal and external reporting. You collect and analyse data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with corporate and statutory reporting regulations and guidelines. You also provide support and assistance to internal and external auditors. THE ROLE

• Manage accounting & financial system, , taxes, forecasting and budgets, and management and statutory audit reporting.
• Prepare, and file internal and external audit.
• Ensure accurate finance reporting, compliance with local tax, local audit and company policy requirements.
• Manage treasury related tasks such as bank mandates, bank access and so on.
• Coordinate and liaise with operations on the supply & integrity of inventory information including cyclic and stock take cost transactions.
• Participate in the implementation of major and complex projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure world class audit and tax compliance is achieved.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• CPA or CA or other professional accounting accreditation
• Experience working with multiple currencies
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, project management, process improvement skills, and proficiency in spreadsheet.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills; works well both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines
• Minimum 3 years external auditor experience is needed
• Hands on with excellent attention to details
• Able to work under stress deadline
• Good working attitude
