Job Description:

• Process daily deposits, including verifying amounts, checking for discrepancies, and ensuring accurate entry into the banking system.
• Implement and maintain deposit operations policies and procedures to comply with Bank Negara regulations.
• Assist internal stakeholder such as customers services with inquiries related to customer’s deposit accounts, including transaction history, account balances, and deposit verification.
• Prepare and generate regular reports on deposit volumes, trends, and other relevant metrics for management review.
• Oversee the archiving of deposit records and documents in accordance with legal requirements and company policies, ensuring confidentiality and security of customer information.
• Assisting with the implementation and testing of new deposit products and services.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as fraud prevention and customer service, to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with IT and other technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues impacting deposit operations.
• Staying updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to deposit operations.

Other Duties:  

• Back up coverage within the team
• BCP exercise for both internally within the bank and externally (i.e regulatory).
• Involvement of regulatory industry wide testing as and when required.
• Assisting senior for projects and system UAT as and when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in deposit operations or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal team member.
