Reporting to the Regional Manager, Accounting you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the actioning of a range of accountancy tasks within specified timelines, meeting regulatory and compliance requirements including reporting, reconciling of cross system data, complete tax requirements and interact/reporting with FP&A to ensure reconciliation and be a key figure in audit responsibilities. This role will support the accountancy requirements of Malaysia with key responsibilities for the role including reconciling between financial systems to ensure accurate reporting & figures, be a crucial figure when working with auditors and a source of all information relating to the Malaysia books. • Minimum 3 + years experience working as an Accountant
• Minimum diploma or degree of Accounting
• Familiarity across multiple financial systems
• Ability to identify and make appropriate decisions on next actions in relation to assessment of financial information.
• Maintain the highest standard of detail; to ensure accurate
• Contemporary knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, legislation and standards;
• Highly proficient and knowledge of auditing practices;
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people both internal and external
• Team oriented and results focused.
