Remote Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Remote Accountant to join our team at Padini Holdings Berhad in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. As a Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing reports, and analyzing financial information to ensure the company's financial health.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial records and transactions - Prepare financial statements and reports - Analyze financial data and provide insights to upper management - Assist in budget preparation and monitoring - Perform reconciliations and audits as needed - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial processes - Provide support for financial planning and forecasting - Utilize accounting software and tools effectively - Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 1 year of experience in accounting or finance - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines - People management skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - CPA or other relevant certifications a plus
