Vice President, Custody & Corporate Action Operations

This is a new opportunity created to lead and manage a new Corporate Action team based in KL. Your new company This is a well-known foreign financial institution based in the most exciting location right now in Kuala Lumpur! Your new role This is a high profile management position accountable for building and maintaining a scalable custody operations team to support the overall aspirations of the business. You are responsible for management of 200+ staff based in Kuala Lumpur supporting multiple regions and time zones. These functions include the following:

• Corporate Actions, Back Office Support, Client Due diligence, client RFPs
  
• Transformation migrations (TOM)
  
• Operations Optimization programmes
  
• Promote relentless focus on service quality across operational disciplines.
  
• Management of operational processes to meet or exceed service level requirements
  
• Accountable for continuous process improvement of existing processes and migration of new functions from the onshore business partner.
  

What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have extensive working experience ( 10 years) in the Securities Services Operations space, specifically Global and Direct Custody experience. You will also have knowledge of clients and products across a range of securities services and have experience of being in a management position with exposure to business partners across multiple geographical locations. You are solutions-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain global and regional relationships at all business levels.
