ABOUT THE ROLE

• Candidate must be familiar with academic processes and regulatory requirements of both MQA and MVC (for veterinarians) and also be able to carry out the duties of an Academic Administrative (where applicable).

• Undertake teaching and teaching related duties such as design, preparation and development of teaching materials conduct classes/lectures, tutorials and practical consultation with students, invigilation, preparation and marking of assessments

• Participate and contribute to high quality programme and curriculum development

• Plan and implement teaching strategies to maximise the student learning towards the module/programme learning outcomes

• Ability to conduct high quality research evidenced by a strong publicationand citation record (Scopus/Clarivate indexed).

• Ability to successfully win competitive research grantsas the Principal Researcher evidenced by a strong track record.

• Maintain high standards in supervising postgraduateresearch students.

• Applicants with patents registered / consultancy works carried out will be given preference

• Assist in establishing linkages with external organisations/ professional bodies in academic related matters locally and internationally
