Job Overview
The Business Support Lead is a pivotal role designed to work alongside Business Development Managers to facilitate new client acquisitions and support the sales team's efforts. This role involves a blend of administrative, operational, and sales support tasks to ensure smooth acquisition processes and effective account management following the acquisition.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Lead Client Acquisition strategy: Develop in new client acquisition by providing robust support in paperwork, administration, and sales efforts alongside the Business Development Manager and or Account Managers.
- Account Management: Post-acquisition, manage client accounts according to the guidelines and responsibilities outlined for Key Account Managers, ensuring client satisfaction and account growth.
- Operational Excellence: Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely processing of sales documentation, quotations, and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Sales Support: Aid in the creation, tracking, and follow-up of sales leads, contributing to the sales pipeline and supporting the achievement of sales targets.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit sales reports, manage sales documentation, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all sales-related paperwork.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client acquisition and account management.
- Any other ad-hoc task as instructed by sales leadership to support the end to end sales management process.
- Assist Head of Sales in any sales operations matters when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales support, administration, or a similar role within a sales or client acquisition environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines
