Job Description

We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to be the face and backbone of LUME's daily operations. You'll open the space each morning, keep it spotless, prepare coffee and drinks, and make sure every person who walks in feels genuinely welcomed.

You'll also help showcase the space by capturing simple photos and videos for LUME's social media content.

This is a full-time role for someone who wants to grow with a brand they're proud of.

What You'll Do

1. Customer Support: welcome and attend customers warmly and provide help whenever needed. That includes answering questions, bookings, check-in/outs, seating and anything related to our customer's experience at Lume.
2. Operations & Space Maintenance: follow Lume's SOPs to handle daily operations from opening, closing, cleaning, inventory, and preparing the space to welcome our customers (necessary training is provided within the probation period).
3. Admin & Marketing Assistance: assist with light admin and marketing tasks (e.g. data-entry, recording and editing short-videos).

What We're Looking For

1. Most importantly, warm, friendly, and naturally hospitality-minded. Making guests feel welcome and cared for is the most important part of this role.
2. Takes pride in a clean, neat, and well-organized environment. Visual clutter is a distraction that can’t exist at Lume.
3. Punctual, reliable, and able to precisely follow instructions and SOPs.
4. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
5. Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Local Malaysian
7. Ability to work with rotating shifts (morning/evening)
8. Willing to learn (marketing skills, coffee making, admin skills ..etc)
9. Comfortable taking photos and short videos for social media
10. F&B or hospitality experience is a bonus
