Requirement, Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proven working experience as a Database Administrator.
- Working experience at least 3 years in relevant areas.
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
- Familiarity with database design , documentation and coding.
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages API.
- Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification.

Job Description/ Primary Responsibilities:
- Create ways to store, organize, and present data.
- Work with businesses and managers to identify user needs.
- Perform complex technical, analytical and professional services involving program/member services, evaluation, database-driven Web sites, office operations.
- Administer a variety of database systems including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and others.
- Maintain and administer Web server and middleware tools.
- Set up new computer databases.
- Integrate old systems data with new system.
- Test and coordinate modifications.
- Assume the technical lead for SQL Server and online database projects.
- Create high-level reporting systems.
- Audit, modify, and amend data in systems using SQL commands, hand-editing, and bulk import.
- Supports application development team by recognizing and evaluating database issues and implementing solutions.
- Monitor database and server logs for unusual events, and troubleshoot errors.
- Perform database housekeeping
- Assists in database restoration and recovery
- Troubleshoot and correct issues as they arise.
- Prepare, plan and standby for DRP testing for all active system with corresponding Systems and IT Owner.
- Ensure system is running smoothly.
- Add new users to the system as needed.
- Plan and coordinate security measures alongside network administrators.

- Ensure compliance schedule for everyday operations.
- Implements repeatable and maintainable procedures
- Maintain standards of service levels at all times, ensure response with timeframe and manage all available services.
- Supervise all batch jobs as per requirement.
- Participate and assist in certification and accreditation activities such as ISMS, WebTrust Audits, including Database Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), Database Risk Assessment, and Vulnerability.
- Assists with business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) planning.
- Applies full understanding of the business, the customer, and the solutions that a business offers to effectively design, develop, and implement operational capabilities, tools, and processes that enable highly available, scalable, & reliable customer experiences.
- Develops and maintains automated, zero-downtime deployment capability environment.
