Electrical Specialist

The role is responsible for the completion of assigned maintenance work to the correct standard to maintain plant equipment reliability. This includes following all site requirements to safely execute the work and communicate to site team on plant equipm

Malaysia - Kemaman

• Complete scheduled and daily routine mechanical maintenance activities to avoid unexpected stoppages, rectify faults or recover from breakdown.
• Complete basic equipment inspection. Following Preventative maintenance task list or One Point Lesson. Also use four sensors to understand issues, hear, see, smell, touch.
• Follow the Graymont work order management process and able to raise and complete work orders in JDE.
• Support maintenance planning by completing planning scoping sheet for maintenance tasks. Documenting parts, steps in work required.
• Follow the Graymont inventory process to book parts out of the warehouse and return parts to the warehouse.
• Use the level 1 RCA tool to capture information on plant equipment and breakdowns to improve reliability
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor of any breakdown, unexpected maintenance required or of any spares/consumables when running low or out of stock.
• Complete risk assessments and/or Job Start Checks prior to starting tasks. Complete relevant permits to gain access to the equipment. Isolate all equipment before work begins.
• Provide and receive feedback by conducting and participating in regular safety observations.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs). Identify hazards and report them to the Safety & Environment Coordinator and/or Site Manager.
• Participate in Maintenance Team Performance Meetings and contribute to required task, shift and site reporting.
• Able to problem solve on why a piece of equipment is not performing correctly or communicate key equipment symptoms to maintenance supervisor or reliability engineer or capture in JDE.
• For equipment breakdowns, required to investigate, inspect and report to supervisor on finding and corrective actions to return machine to service. This includes an estimate of the timeframe for repair.
• All employees are expected to complete other tasks, training and development activities and participate in company programs as required by the Company.
• Maintenance work is completed within safety and environmental guidelines and no personal injury
• Mechanical maintenance work is completed as per the work order instructions
