Penerangan Pekerjaan - HR Operations & Analyst, Associate Kuala Lumpur

SOCAR aims to change the way people in South East Asia move around by becoming the biggest car-sharing platform in South East Asia. We are currently the biggest player in Malaysia and aim to scale out our product offering across more verticals and geographies.

What will you engaged in?

As our new HR Operations & Analyst, Associate you will have the opportunity to:

HRMS

  • Maintain an accurate and up to date database in HRMS which includes but not limited to personal details, job information, etc
  • Research and resolve HRMS problems promptly by recommending possible solutions or by liaising with the vendor if necessary
  • Maintain HRMS documentation which includes user manuals, guidelines, training materials, etc
  • Provide training to end users and administrators when necessary
  • Accommodate implementation of existing or new HR process to HRMS accordingly
  • Leading continuous evaluation, implementation, and improvement of HRMS utilisation including new and existing features
  • Collaborating with other departments/teams to implement their needs to HRMS when possible and/or necessary

HR Data Analytics

  • Develop, implement, and maintain databases (including data sources & security), data analytics system, infrastructure, and frameworks
  • Build, implement, and maintain best practice on data collection, analysis, and visualisation
  • Evaluate data system, infrastructure, and framework and conduct improvement and/or clean up when necessary
  • Collaborate with related departments/teams to collect, maintain, and develop reports and/or dashboards
  • Provide training to end users when necessary

HR Operations

  • Manage employees lifecycle including probation, confirmation, and offboarding
  • Manage employees merit increment, bonus, promotion, salary adjustment, and conversion cycle
  • Manage employee recognition programs
  • Manage lettering for the People & Transformation department
  • Assisting in building and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the People Operations team to ensure well-documented processes
  • Manage transfer pricing for the company to its subsidiaries
  • Assist in various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Budgeting

  • Build and manage department budget
  • Advise the department and management pertaining to budget

Payroll Management

  • Responsible for end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensure timely salary payout as per payroll schedule and comply with all statutory requirements
  • Prepare reconciliation, payroll and other relevant reports to finance
  • Subject matter expert(SME) for statutory matters such as EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax and other Acts relevant to payroll and payroll audit
  • Review EA form prepared by payroll vendor
  • Handle employees’ queries on computation of basic salary, allowances, overtime, etc.
  • Create or revise relevant SOP to ensure compliance and better turnaround time
  • Assist in monitoring and managing P&T budget spreadsheets

Compensation & Benefits Management

  • Administer and improve on compensation structures, medical insurance plans, employee benefits and perks
  • Revise and propose relevant SOP to ensure compliance and better turnaround time

  • Proficient in MS Excel and/or Google Sheet
  • Solid understanding of payroll fundamentals, taxation, and best practices
  • Understanding of general HR policies, labour law, and HR procedures
  • Ability to live SOCAR’s vision of the future of sharing mobility in South East Asia
  • Studied human resources, business, or similar subjects
  • Describe yourself as a solution-based thinker and able to work independently on new challenges and opportunities
  • Experienced in HR roles focusing on payroll management
  • Meticulous and resourceful
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
