Job Responsibility - Technical Support: Provide frontline technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and effectively
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations of computer hardware components, peripherals, and devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Software Management: Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, drivers, and patches across various platforms to maintain system security and compatibility
- Network Administration: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points, to ensure seamless connectivity and data transmission
- Data Backup and Recovery: Implement and oversee backup procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure disaster recovery readiness in the event of system failures, data breaches, or other emergencies
- Security Compliance: Enforce IT security policies, protocols, and best practices to protect against cyber threats, malware, unauthorized access, and data breaches, and conduct periodic security audits and assessment
- Computer Purchase: Facilitate the purchase process for new computers, obtaining price quotes, and recommending suitable hardware configurations based on organizational needs and budget constraints
Job Requirements - Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and address urgent issues
- Proficiency in using computer systems, electronic devices, and information management software to effectively perform job duties
