Mill Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct all mill operations (operators and machine) to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.

• Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations in processing of FFB

• To manage the mill operation & maintenance personnel. To enforce good working morale and cooperation among mill personnel to ensure the mill operates smoothly

• Ensure healthy yields of oil and kernel extraction rates with minimal losses. Good management of by-product

• Ensure compliance to the DOE, DOSH, HSE etc. regulatory requirements and internal policies

• Implement and monitor productions targets, quality control measures and maintenance schedules.

• Identify and implement process improvement to enhance productivity and sustainability

• Good housekeeping on production floor, machineries and equipments including conducting regular and scheduled preventive

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
2. Extensive experience 10–15 years in managing palm oil mill operations
3. Strong technical knowledge of palm oil milling processes and machinery.
4. 1st grade steam certificate.
5. Strong sense of responsibility and trustworthiness
6. Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
7. Familiarity with MS Office and mill production systems.
8. Good stress management to maintain a positive work environment
9. Experience with MSPO standards.
10. Knowledge of sustainable palm oil practices.
11. Preferably from Private Mills
