PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set clear objectives and guide team members to achieve targets, performance standards while focusing on the key Performance Deliverables
· Manage day-to-day operational finance activities, customer liaison and lead successful achievement of daily KPI
· Responding to customer complaints or queries in a fast efficient and concise manner.
· Actively reviewing operational procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and promoting continuous improvement within the team
· Address team member performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies, escalate any service failure and follow up and implement corrective actions
· Review work instructions and SOP for all Finance related tasks
· Train team members on new Finance tasks and refresher trainings
· Develop and enforce efficiencies in paperless processing ; heavily involve in achieving automation capability in identified functions
· Develop personal development plan and ensure people growth with proper coaching and best practice sharing across the teams
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB
Technical
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to do presentations.
· Strong leadership and management skills with excellent problem solving competency.
· Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision
Human Relations
· Customer orientated, good people skills and able to work with people at all levels.
· Good motivation, team building and influence skills
Business
· Analytical with proven problem solving skills and strong focus on continuous improvement
· Computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Time management
· Planning, organization and execution skills
· Promotes and supports all departmental systems training
ESSENTIAL PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
· Sets high standards and well-defined realistic goals, demonstrates high level of effort and commitment towards completing tasks according to deadlines
· Operationally sound and willing to ‘roll up the sleeves’ when necessary with hands on approach
· Proactive, self-starter, self-management, organized and hardworking and ability to work independently
· Previous experience in training, mentoring and developing others
· Knowledge of business improvement methodologies
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
· Degree in any related field or equivalent
· At least 7 years’ experience in Operational Finance role
· CW1 hands on knowledge is a plus
· Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook
