Operations Manager

Job Description:

MISC Berhad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in George Town, Penang. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of our organization.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations. 2. Manage and optimize operational processes to improve productivity and reduce costs. 3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. 4. Develop and manage budgets and allocate resources appropriately. 5. Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support as needed. 6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. 7. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. 8. Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline operations and drive innovation. 9. Analyze data and prepare reports for senior management on operational performance. 10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and vendors.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2. 7 years of experience in operations management or a similar role. 3. Strong leadership and communication skills. 4. Proven ability to make sound decisions and solve complex problems. 5. Independent and dedicated with a strong work ethic. 6. Excellent planning and organizational skills. 7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with operational management software. 9. Knowledge of industry best practices and trends. 10. Ability to travel as needed.
