The Retail Operations Manager/Executive will be responsible in managing all offline stores and ensure all offline stores can operate smoothly and grow according to sales target.
Responsibilities:
Store Setup
- Responsible in new store setup (both permanent and pop-up), including promoter hiring, product curation, mall/organiser coordination and supplier coordination
- Responsible in finding new potential locations (permanent or pop-up) that suit our brand in supporting our offline expansion
- Responsible in ensuring store decoration is on-point and is in accordance to our brand identity
- Responsible in any closure of stores (both permanent and pop-up)
- Develop new operations related SOP when such needs arise, update the current Operations Manual and brief the entire operations team.
Store Management
- Point of coordination between HQ and all the stores
- Responsible in the Visual Merchandising (VM) of all stores
- Responsible in ensuring stocks are optimally stocked in all stores
- Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training staff
- Manage store staff work schedule, including deploying part-timers or replacements when necessary
- Responsible in promoter basic performance, including good attendance, possess good work ethic, and have basic skills in sales
- Act as an auditor to ensure that all the store operations are smooth and works are carried out as intended
- To manage losses by identifying potential risk area, make necessary control and take charge of the SOP
- To ensure maximum usage of resources to achieve maximum efficiency via effective planning of operations resources and implementing sound administrative practices
Store Growth
· Propose strategies and tactical plans in driving store growth
· Execute plans in accordance to budget
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any fields
- Possess at least 1-2 years working experience in the retail operations or fashion/beauty background
- Possess good interpersonal skills and communications skills
- Good problem solving skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrate positive mindset and attitude
- Adaptable, disciplined and self-motivated
- Sales oriented and excellent in customer service skills
- Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese language will be an added advantage
- Must be able to work on shifts, public holidays and weekends
