Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the BCM Programme across MAHB Group, which is reported to the Corporate Risk Management Committee and Board Risk Management Committee on a quarterly basis
• Ensure that BCM Programme standards are established according to MAHB’s BCM Framework
• Create and enhance Risk Management awareness especially on BCM throughout the organization through seminars; trainings; workshops and induction programs
• Deployment of the BCM Module of the Malaysia Airports Risk Scorecard System (MArs) across MAHB Group
• Appointed role as BCM Secretariat upon activation of the Corporate Crisis Management Team in event of a corporate crisis or disaster.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Supervise the Programme Management Office for the BCM Unit, especially communications with Risk/ BCM Coordinators.
• Manage development, implementation and maintenance of the BCM Programme  across MAHB Group, which include business impact analysis, risk assessments and, documenting and reviewing Business Continuity Plans, manuals and presentations.
• Supervise coordination of BCM events which include but not limited to awareness sessions, trainings,  workshops, seminars and induction programmes.
• Appointed primary system administrator for the BCM Module of the Malaysia Airports Risk Scorecard System (MArs).
• Provide support of other related committees or programmes that is interdependent with BCM.
• A member of the BCM Secretariat under the Corporate Crisis Management Team Structure.
• Provide key support to other risk management activities that are driven by the other units in Risk Management Division (Enterprise Risk Management and Insurance Management) especially risk identification activities, physical inspections and surveys and development of risk registers.

Key Challenges

• Monitor the execution of BCM workstreams according to agreed timelines established in the BCM Annual Work Plan, which is reported to the Corporate Risk Management Committee and Board Risk Management Committee on a quarterly basis
• Regular engagement with numerous internal and external stakeholders within the airport environment
• Numerous BCM documentation to be developed, reviewed, approved and maintained by relevant airport stakeholders
• Analyze and understand risks on various fields and in airports operations and how it relates to the BCM development
• Keep oneself updated with dynamic environment of airport and aviation industry.

Relevant Industries

EXTERNAL

• Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 year relevant experience.

UNIQUE REQUIREMENT

• Certified with a Risk Management and/ or BCM professional and/or ISMS certification with a recognized international certifying body.

Education

EXTERNAL

• Degree preferably with specialization in Risk Management/ Insurance/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Business Administration/ Accounting /Finance or equivalent.
