What a Site Operations Lead does at HP:
- R esponsible for overseeing the operations of a critical manufacturing environment, including fabs, and will serve as the primary liaison between the local site leadership and corporate headquarters.
- This individual will independently drive aligned outcomes and implement strategies, including the Continuous Reliability, Enhancement, and Workstream (CREWs) strategy.
- Additionally, the Site Operations Lead will manage outsourced suppliers and act as the single point of contact for all corporate real estate-related issues, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of critical manufacturing facilities, including fabs, to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with site leadership to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives and the CREWs strategy.
- Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization of operations.
- Ensure project delivery costs are in line with set budget.
- Manage relationships with outsourced suppliers, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
- Ensure that suppliers meet contractual obligations, quality standards, and delivery timelines to support uninterrupted operations.
- Act as the single point of contact for all corporate real estate-related matters, including lease agreements, facilities maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Liaise between corporate real estate teams and local site leadership to address facility-related issues and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute facility expansion, renovation, or relocation projects.
- Facilitate effective communication between local site leadership, corporate headquarters, and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on operational performance, project status, and key initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for feedback, concerns, and recommendations from site personnel to corporate leadership.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management within a critical manufacturing environment, with specific knowledge of fabs operations.
- Strong understanding of corporate real estate principles, facilities management, and supplier relationship management.
- Experience implementing strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence, preferably in alignment with CREWs strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
