Software Engineering Manager

Your core responsibilities can include (but are not limited to):

• Technically direct a distributed team of backend engineers in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand
• Work with various internal teams, including product, marketing, and operations to build and release quality features.
• Serve as the most senior engineer for the Thailand team, ensuring the welfare of the local team and smooth operations.
• Make strategic technical and architectural decisions impacting the whole company.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with Thai vendors as required
• Engage in hands-on coding when possible

• Experience in leading tech teams
• Strong knowledge of Java, Rust, or similar languages; experience with Springboot, Kotlin, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform is beneficial
• Experience in operating production software systems at scale.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and micro-services
• Capability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
