Requirements:
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION :
· Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Engineering
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- 1-3 years relevant working experience in biomedical or electronic, preferably in hospital environment.
OTHER ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S) :
· Able to communicate in English. · Honest with pleasant personality.
· Able to work long hours & on – Standby
Scopes:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Will be responsible to guide other medical personnel such as nurses on how to use medical devices.
- Able to communicate with vendors for fast solution during medical equipment breakdown and to source for proposals.
- Conduct safety testing and standards compliance.
- Inspect, test, and calibrate biomedical device/equipment.
- To be able to work and keep up to date with the latest in biomedical technology.
- Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on equipment and system as per schedule.
- Execute routine inspection program as determined by the superior.
- To maintain proper documentation for all service contracts/products, biomedical equipment inventory, manuals etc.
- To ensure biomedical equipment service/product contract with the vendors are in place for inspection, testing, calibration, and servicing.
- To response immediately for any incidents and emergency situation according to the standard guidelines on contingency situation.
- To record and maintain machine/equipment operation data or vendors servicing job sheet or work records for the purpose of tracking and performance review.
- To conduct user training as and when required.
- Assist in coordinating vendor activities.
- Assist in source for quotation on the service/products required.
- To work independently as and when required and communicate effectively at all times.
- To Stay-Back or be On-Call basis after working hours if required, allowance will be given.
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
