VP of Treasury and Capital Markets

This company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Treasury and Capital Markets to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. As the VP of Treasury and Capital Markets, you will play a pivotal role in supervising the day-to-day operations of the division. You will be responsible for managing operations, subordinates, and budgets to meet the bank's financial objectives.

What you'll do:
Your role will involve overseeing the management of bank liquidity and daily funding requirements in both local and foreign currencies. You will ensure compliance with internal and regulatory liquidity ratios while providing comprehensive insights into market dynamics, ongoing trends, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

• Spearhead the development of Shariah-compliant treasury products, processes, and documentation
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with counterparties; Financial Institutions, Government Bodies, Pensions Fund, Assets Managers, Insurance companies and Corporates

What you bring:
To succeed in this role, you are required to possess a valid Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PKMC) License.

• Degree/Master Degree/Other Professional Qualification in Economy/Banking/Finance/Business Studies or related field
• 10 - 15 years' work experience preferably in Treasury Trading gained in a financial industry environment
• Good leadership and ability to guide team members to ensure excellent service delivery to internal and external customers
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with senior management, other departments, outside service-related agencies and vendors
