Assistant Manager- FP & A

Responsible for entire inventory management including physical inventory, inventory control and reconciling inventory module to general ledger. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage slow moving and non-moving inventory. Responsible for finalization of inventory valuation in month end closing and year end close. Responsible for internal audit/external audit on inventory and cost of goods, identify inefficiencies and implement continuous process improvement ideas and projects. Budgeting, planning, reporting and analysis of product costing. Set up and maintain accurate standard costing system and update product bill of material in SAP Monitor activity-based costing and analyze variances against standard. Take lead in the annual physical count process Identify opportunities for internal process improvement and make constructive suggestion for change (eg. Improve inventory & costing system report in SAP Review the landed cost calculation on all imported materials and products Assists in annual budgeting for company Support to ensure timely month-end and year end closing and coordinate for completion of statutory audits. Meet deadline for various internal and external management & inventory reporting. C. Technical / Functional Skills (Must have): Work experience in large scale manufacturing environment in FMCG/Pharma/Engineering Good knowledge in SAP system Strong analytical and problem solving skills In depth knowledge of Inventory and costing Strong inter-personnel skills and able to interact effective with people from all level Advanced in Microsoft excel D. Technical / Functional Skills (Nice to have): Experience of process improvement initiatives like Kaizen and automation projects. Worked in pharma industries or other MNC environment E. Behavioral / Management / Other Skills: Fluent English communication Able to shift gears, adapt quickly and be flexible. Should be ready to take on new challenges F. Educational Qualification / Skills Certification: Degree in Accounting Certification in MS office will be added advantage. G. Work Experience: 4-5 years of costing experience in medium to large scale manufacturing organization Working experience in SAP on Materials/ inventory management module. Employer questions
