Full job description

DAILY TASK

• Take lead and attend walkthrough enquiry for M&E works.
• Check and review BOM/costing completeness for proposal/tender.
• Work closely with commercial department for proposal/tender submission.
• Prepare and monitor project costing and budget.
• Monitor and ensure all installation works/tasks are completed on time.
• Always enforce work quality practice, strictly complying with drawings, specification and obtaining QAQC / customers buy off.
• Attending and solve site installation/commercial issues.
• Submit weekly progress update report and attend weekly work progress meeting with customer.
• Manage, supervise and coach Project Engineer and Project Supervisor
• Ensure final handover documentation completeness and submission timely.
• Approve material requisition for site installation.
• Enforce and practice proper PPE and strictly follow safety guidelines at the workplace.
• Ensure audit on site material stock is performed and report to be submitted to finance department timely.
• Enforce and audit proper housekeeping (5S) at workplace, laydown and workshop.
• Review and update SOP as required.
• Back up project manager during his/her absence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Construction Manager is responsible for maintaining day-to-day project activities in order to meet departmental operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a minimum Degree in Engineering with 4 years of related working experience or Diploma in Engineering with at least 8 years of related working experience.
• The incumbent shall be located in Malacca
