ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involve with implementing safeguarding activities to strengthen IT security. This includes application, database and corporate applications.
• Design and implement security related packages such as Microsoft Business Premium
• Establishing application security roadmaps and application security development best practices to ensure Paywiser's application meets regulatory security requirements for Paywiser's financial services business,
• Reviewing / create system security measures / controls and recommending and implementing enhancements,
• Reviewing security design of new / current applications and infrastructure projects including cloud computing initiative and member of the architecture review board to review security aspects of the application design,
• Leading / coordinating application security penetration testing / vulnerability assessment and conduct periodic reviews / audits for security flaws for organization application,
• Implementing security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; and anticipating requirements
• Defining application security design standards for Paywiser's applications,
• Managing and implementing new security initiatives and controls, which encompass network, application and endpoint security,
• Involving in security incident investigation and providing thorough post-event analysis,
• Any other tasks as required by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Cyber Security, or equivalent,
• At least 4 years of experience in the area of IT security
• Familiar with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Business Premium and other security softwares such as Barracuda and Forrester,
• Familiar with Mobile Device management, email security and protection, security alert and monitoring, single sign on (SSO) and construction of organisation chart etc
• Familiar with tokenisation to access applications
• Able to write Shell/Python scripts
• Proficient in building LNMP architecture, understanding PHP-NGINX interaction process, and able to optimize performance
• Familiar with common middleware such as MySQL/Redis/RabbitMQ/Clickhouse/ES/Canal
• Familiar with GitLab, Jenkins tool deployment and use and CI/CD processes
• Familiar with common monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus
• Familiar with log collection system related solutions
• Familiar with CDN and DNS principles, TCP/IP protocol and able to handle network failures
• Experience in preventing attacks such as ddos attacks
• Excellent communication, inter-personal, and problem-solving skills
• Attitude toward getting things done while maintaining regard for code quality
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of initiatives and comfortable seeking help
• Comfortable tackling new problems and learning along the way
• Fluent in English and Chinese are required. Additional languages, such as Japanese are a plus.
